What’s the Distribution Plan?
Step #1: Pick your merch
Step #2: Distribute it.
I work with my clients all day long on selecting branded merch.
My job is to help them find a product that is memorable, functional (and stealable!) and best tells their brand story!
And that’s just step #1.
Step #2 is talking about the distribution plan to their target audience.
Will they be handed out face to face at an event, like a tradeshow or fair?
Are they part of a room drop at a conference?
Or…and here’s where it gets interesting…do they want us to ship the merch to each recipient’s home?
It’s a service we have been offering since March of 2020 (any idea what happened then?).
Clients appreciate that they can send us a spreadsheet of recipient addresses and we take care of all of the rest – merch, insert cards, fulfillment, packaging and mailing.
It’s a time-consuming effort, but work that our clients don’t want to do themselves from their home office or in their garages!
