Choose Your Brand’s Reputation

“I just need something cheap to giveaway at an event”.

I scratch my head when a client says this to me.

I have to remind them that their reputation is on the product we choose to represent their brand.

If they are a software as a service (SaaS) company that charges $100’s of dollars a month, then a $.69 pen is likely the wrong item to gift at the end of a prospect meeting.

If they are a law firm that specializes in intellectual property and bills clients $450/hour, then a reusable straw is likely the wrong client gift.

If they are a heavy-equipment manufacturer that sells machinery for $20k+, then a Pop Socket is likely the wrong product to hand out to qualified leads at a tradeshow booth.

If the item we choose together to represent your brand doesn’t last very long or never gets used at all, your brand’s reputation is in jeopardy.

When you buy branded merch, you are not buying a giveaway – you are buying brand awareness.

Isn’t that awareness worth a whole lot more than $.69?
