How Branded-Merch Boosts Morale

HR Folks: Is it possible to stem the tide of “quiet quitting” with high-end branded merch?

In the age of quiet quitting, connecting with disengaged employees is a top priority.

Business leaders and HR professionals are scrambling for ways to excite and motivate their workforce.

But can a gift of high-end branded merch like an item from Nike, Bose, Yeti, Herschel, Patagonia, The North Face, Titleist or 100’s other brands stem the tide?

Research shows that awe-inspiring brand gifts and incentives could do the trick.

In a short but great piece in a recent issue of PPAI - Promotional Products Association International's PPB Magazine, Paige McAllister, a teammate of one of my fave HR people Claudia St. John,
covers actions to consider if quiet quitting is impacting your workplace.

While she doesn’t mention high-end branded merch in the article, we have heard anecdotally from clients that branded merch boosts employee morale and can impact quiet quitting.

Good news for our branded merch space, and of course, for our clients!
