New Hire Welcome Kits

When you’re sending a welcome kit to a remote employee, the right merch can send a very powerful message.

Products in the kit should be on-brand for your organization AND things your new team member will be excited to receive (and post about!)

Good design is more important that ever.

The days of simply printing your logo on an item as large as possibly are quickly fading away. A more modern approach is to pair beautiful designs (similar to those seen in retail) and messaging with more subtle branding treatments.

Your merch should reflect your organization’s values.

If you support environmental sustainability goals, women or minority owned businesses, Wounded Warriors, clean water initiatives, or any social good cause, then your merch should be manufactured in a way that supports your values…and your recipients should know that.

Quality over quantity.

Remember, you’re setting the tone of this new relationship with your welcome gift. It’s better to send one thoughtful, quality gift that will be used daily than a box full of cheap, clichéd promo that will end up in the back of a closet.

PRO TIP: Consider including some lifestyle items and even apparel, not just the typical office accessories.
