Details Matter at Magic Kingdom

Mitch at Maging Kingdom at Walt Disney World

I recently visited the Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World with my family. My big business takeaway? Details matter.

For example, this is a picture of the cement path in the line leading into Under the Sea – Journey of the Little Mermaid. Disney could have easily just created a smooth winding pavement. Instead, they chose to embed little footprints as if Ariel’s eccentric seagull friend, Scully was walking on the cement while it was being poured. And the cherry on top? The footprints lead to a drain as if Scully fell down the drain!

Details not only matter in theme parks, but they also matter in a B-to-B selling environment.

At Printable we:

  • Send Printable onesies to our clients when they return to work after a maternity leave

  • Create Good, Better, Best sample kits for our best-selling product categories

  • Offer quarterly themed “Experience-in-a-box” sample kits to our clients

  • Send hand-written congratulations, condolence, birthday and anniversary cards to our clients

Today’s business landscape is incredibly competitive. And these details help Printable stand out from the competition. ANY company can do the little things to stand out; and you don’t have to be Walt Disney either 😊

What details does your business excel at?
